Description

Details

MK677 is an orally active growth hormone secretagogue (GHS), a peptidyl synthetic GHS to be exact. GHS’s are compounds that have been found to induce GH release in several species and are closely related to Ghrelin. Ghrelin is a gastric hormone that acts on the pituitary and hypothalamus to stimulate Growth hormone (GH) release, fat-loss, appetite and fuel metabolism.

MK677 has been shown in research to effectively stimulate GH release through the pituitary and hypothalamic receptor. MK677 stimulates GH secretion from the pituitary both in vitro and in vivo. This is important since declining activity of the GH-IGF-I in research subjects has been shown to cause or accelerate issues such as cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, weakness and cognitive decline, just to name a few.

MK677 was developed for daily oral administration that could effectively raise GH/IGF-1 levels, which it does very well. Research has shown MK677 administration to also “antagonize fat-loss in rat adipocytes” and to positively affect metabolism along with the duly noted rise in GH levels in research subjects.

MK677is believed to have actions through four mechanisms: increasing GHRH release, amplifying GHRH signaling in somatotrophs of the anterior pituitary gland, reducing somatostatin release and antagonizing somatostatin receptor signaling. MK677 has also been found to inhibit cell death in various research settings.

Many possible areas of research are possible with this amazing compound and we are glad to offer you only highest quality US made compounds for all your research needs!
